Terms of use

These terms apply when you use aigen.pet (“the service”), run by the operator of aigen.pet. By using the service you agree to them.

What the service does

You upload a photo of a pet and our image AI creates a set of stylised portraits based on it. Results are generated automatically and can vary; the AI may occasionally get details wrong.

Your photos

• Only upload photos you took yourself or have permission to use.
• Upload photos of animals. Don’t upload photos where people are the main subject, or anything illegal, hateful, sexual or violent.
• You keep any rights you have in your photo. You give us permission to store it and process it (including with our AI provider) only to create, show and deliver your portraits.

Your portraits

You may use the portraits you create for personal, non-commercial purposes – prints, gifts, wallpapers, social posts. If you want to use them commercially, contact us first. We don’t claim ownership of your portraits and we don’t use them for marketing without asking.

Free packs and credits

• One free pack is available per 60 minutes per person, device and network. We may limit free packs to protect the service.
• Credits are bought in bundles. One credit makes one pack. Credits don’t expire while the service runs and have no cash value.
• If a pack fails (most of its portraits can’t be created) the credit is returned automatically.
• Because portraits are digital content supplied immediately, you agree that once you use a credit you lose the 14-day right to cancel for that credit. Unused credits can be refunded within 14 days of purchase – email us.
• Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Fair use

Don’t try to get around the free limits, overload the service, scrape it, or use it to create content that breaks the law or infringes someone else’s rights. We may suspend accounts that do.

Availability and liability

We work hard to keep aigen.pet running but can’t promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We aren’t liable for losses that weren’t foreseeable.
